SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team posted its first Cloverbelt Conference East Division victory in three seasons as it swept Greenwood 3-0 on Thursday at Spencer High School.
The Rockets won 25-22, 25-21, 25-13, to improve to 1-3 in the Cloverbelt East. Greenwood drops to 0-4.
Hannah Reckner and Claudia Krause each had eight kills, Hallie Meyer added 15 assists, 14 digs, seven kills and three service aces, and Alexa Stange had 12 digs for Spencer.
Spencer hosts Neillsville on Thursday.
