Marshfield girls basketball surges past Eau Claire North with big second half

EAU CLAIRE – Marshfield dominated the second half and turned a two-point halftime deficit into a 19-point win as it rolled past Eau Claire North 69-50 in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday night at North High School.

Marshfield trailed 35-33 at halftime before blowing out the Huskies in the second half with a 36-15 advantage.

Dani Minsaas scored 25 points, Ayana Bousum added 17 and Ashley Grancorvitz kicked in 15 points for the Tigers, who are now 2-0 this season. Minsaas and Grancorvitz each made three 3-pointers in the win.

Hope Bushendorft led Eau Claire North (1-2) with 14 points.

Marshfield will have some time off before hosting La Crosse Central in a nonconference game Friday, Dec. 2, at 7:15 p.m.
