Columbus Catholic girls basketball knocks off Merrill at Cranberry Classic

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Hailey Zimmermann and Hailey Klumb each scored 12 points to lead the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 50-39 win over Merrill in a semifinal at the Cranberry Classic on Friday at Assumption High School.

With the win the Dons even their season record at 2-2 and will play in the championship game of the tournament at 1:30 p.m. Saturday against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption.

Maggie Callaghan added 10 points and Jenna Kibbel chipped in nine for the Dons.
