Marshfield boys hockey tops Oshkosh in consolation bracket at Culvers Cup

MADISON – The Marshfield boys hockey team defeated Oshkosh 6-3 in a consolation game at the Culvers Cup at the Madison Ice Arena on Thursday.

Joey Cashmer was part of all six goals for the Tigers as he had a hat trick and three assists. Tyler Reissmann added two goals and two assists, and Noah Peterson had a goal and four assists in the win for Marshfield.

Cole Halvorsen had 21 saves in goal for the Tigers, who defeated Oshkosh for the second time this season and improve to 6-5.

Marshfield will play Madison West for fifth place at the tournament Friday at 4:45 p.m.
