Spencer/Columbus wrestling ends season at WIAA Division 2 Neillsville regional

NEILLSVILLE – The Spencer/Columbus Catholic wrestling team’s season came to an end at the WIAA Division 2 regional at Neillsville High School on Saturday.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class at the regional qualified for the Division 2 individual sectional at Amery next Saturday, Feb. 18.

Spencer/Columbus did not have a top-four finisher. Mason Wolf at 126 pounds and Mikey Weiler at 138 each finished sixth for the Rockets’ top two finishes.

Baldwin-Woodville won the team title with 250 points, with St. Croix Central second with 242.5 and each move on to the D-2 team sectional Tuesday at St. Croix Central.
