Abbotsford/Colby slugs past Auburndale baseball

AUBURNDALE – Abbotsford/Colby smacked three home runs and scored in six of its seven at-bats to ease past Auburndale 13-3 in a nonconference baseball game Saturday at Auburndale High School.

Evan Reis, Carlos Lara and Payton Schreiber all homered for the Falcons, who improve to 4-1 this spring.

Auburndale was held to six hits, which included doubles by Aden Cherney and Blake Raab.

Auburndale is scheduled to play a Marawood Conference South Division game at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Monday, weather permitting.
