WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Braden Lewis struck out 10 in a complete-game three-hitter to lead Wisconsin Rapids to a 7-2 win over Marshfield in a Wisconsin Valley Conference baseball game Tuesday at Lincoln High School.

Lewis did not walk a batter as the Tigers managed just two third-inning runs.

Rapids took a 3-0 lead in the second before Marshfield (6-4, 3-2 Wisconsin Valley Conference) managed to tighten it up in the third. A fielder’s choice grounder by Bennett Lang plated Cole Halvorsen, who had singled, and Lang later scored on a passed ball, but that would be all the Tigers could manage against Lewis.
