MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield girls hockey team is ranked fourth in this week’s WIGH (Wisconsin Girls Hockey) state poll, according to wisconsingirlshockey.net.
The Tigers, off to a 5-0 start and a 2-0 record in the Great Northern Conference, shot up from No. 8 in the rankings after beating Northland Pines last Friday.
The Central Wisconsin Storm (4-0, 2-0 GNC), which will play at Marshfield on Monday at the Marshfield Youth Ice Recreation Center, continues to top the poll.
