AUBURNDALE – The undermanned Auburndale wrestling team suffered another Marawood Conference dual meet loss.

The Apaches won four of the seven matches wrestled by couldn’t overcome four forfeit losses, falling to Marathon 46-36 on Thursday night at Auburndale High School.

Derek Deboer (140 pounds), Trevin Oertel (152), Kyle Kundinger (119) and Tim Schroeder (215) all won by pin for the Apaches. Oertel, Kundinger and Schroeder all had pins in the first period of their matches. Auburndale also had two forfeit wins, but the four forfeits were too tough to overcome.
