Spencer baseball drops regular-season finale at Wittenberg-Birnamwood

WITTENBERG – The Spencer baseball team was held to two hits and dropped an 8-1 decision to Wittenberg-Birnamwood in the final regular-season games for both teams on Tuesday at Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School.

The Chargers (15-7) scored four times in the first inning and led the entire way.

Luke Roehrborn had two hits and drove in the Rockets’ only run.

Spencer (11-10) will host Colfax (7-7) in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal Thursday at 5 p.m.
