STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield Post 54 Junior Legion baseball team had its season come to an end Sunday with a 4-1 loss to Plover at the 17U regional at Bukolt Park.
Marshfield’s lone run was scored in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single by Caleb Schaefer.
Bryce Schade went 3-for-3 and Madden Prybylski had a pair of hits for Marshfield, which finishes its season with a 9-22 record.
The tournament continues with games at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday.
