MILWAUKEE – The 2023 WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament concluded Saturday, Nov. 4, with four divisional championship matches at Uihlein Soccer Park.

Middleton won its second shootout at the state tournament and captured the Division 1 title, defeating undefeated Brookfield East. After playing to a 1-1 tie through regulation and overtime, Middleton won the shootout 4-2 to earn its second state title. The other came in 2004.

Union Grove, making its first-ever state tournament appearance, won the Division 2 championship with a 1-0 shutout of West De Pere.

In Division 3, Belleville/New Glarus dominated Plymouth 4-1 to win its program’s first state championship.

Shoreland Lutheran shut out Neenah St. Mary Catholic 2-0 in the Division 4 title game to win its second state title, with the other coming in 2007.
