WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Abigail Pietsch won the all-around and the vault to help the Marshfield gymnastics team to a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Rapids Gymnastics Invitational on Saturday at Lincoln High School.
Pietsch won the vault with a score of 8.95 and added a third-place finish in the floor exercise, along with teammate Alyvia Dietsche, with a score of 8.9, as she finished the all-around with a score of 33.7.
Mukwonago/Kettle Moraine won the team title with 134.975 points, holding off Marshfield, which was second with 132.15.
Dietsche added a third-place finish in the vault (8.7) and Solenne Lonsdale was runner-up in the uneven bars (8.35) as well for Marshfield.
Marshfield won the JV team title as Addison Wray was first in the uneven bars (6.7) and Kylee Richardson took first in the floor (8.1).
Marshfield’s next meet is a Great Northern Conference dual at Medford on Thursday.
