The Marshfield Columbus Catholic and Stratford baseball teams dropped WIAA playoff openers Thursday and were eliminated from the postseason.
Columbus lost a Division 4 regional quarterfinal to Tigerton 12-2 in five innings, ending its season with a 2-16 record.
Stratford lost at home Thursday to Cadott 6-2 in a Division 3 regional quarterfinal. The Tigers finish their season 12-10.
Tigerton moves on to play No. 1 seed Rosholt in a regional semifinal Tuesday. Cadott is at No. 1 seed Stanley-Boyd in a Division 3 regional semifinal, also Tuesday.
