Lakeland sweeps Columbus boys tennis

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys tennis team was swept in each of its seven matches, losing its home opener to Lakeland 7-0 on Tuesday at Miller Recreation Area.

The Dons won just 11 games in their four singles matches.

In doubles, the Dons’ No. 3 team of Neno Nuttauu and Kenny Ubol provided the toughest test to Lakeland, losing to Nick Winter and Paul Darette 6-2, 7-5.

Columbus returns to action Thursday at Antigo.
