STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League concluded regular-season action on Sunday, March 25.
STAR League playoffs will be held on Sunday, April 8.
In the A Division, No. 1 seed Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery will play No. 8 Financial Strategies; No. 2 Success Realty will take on No. 7 Victory Apparel; No. 3 Oil Exchange & Auto Repair will face No. 6 Smazal’s Hunters Choice; and No. 4 Kafka Forestry will play No. 5 Neva Jean Motel.
In the B Division, No. 1 Resource Recovery plays No. 8 After Hours; No. 2 Fairway Mortgage faces No. 7 LJ’s Sport Zone; No. 3 Chaps & Friends takes on No. 6 Stratford Sign Co.; and No. 4 Weiler’s C-Stores plays No. 5 Lob City.

A Division
*Oil Exchange & Auto Repair downed Smazal’s Hunters Choice 64-43. Dodge Langreck had 22 points for Oil Exchange. Justin Schaefer led Smazal’s with 12 points.
*Nutz Deep II/Stoney Acres Brewery edged Neva Jean Motel 67-61. Branson Witucki had 24 points and Jason Schoupe added 20 for Nutz/Stoney Acres. Lucas Kramer led Neva Jean with 16 points.
*Success Realty slipped past Victory Apparel 65-61 behind a league-high 39 points from Cain Trunkel. Kenny Pettit led Victory Apparel with 20 points.
*Kafka Forestry won by forfeit over Financial Strategies.
B Division
*LJ’s Sport Zone beat Stratford Sign Co. 70-62. Josh Henderson had 20 points for LJ’s. Tyler Derfus topped Stratford Sign with 34 points.
*Fairway Mortgage whipped Lob City 61-40. Ethan Posteluk led Fairway with 16 points. Mike Rindfleisch had 15 points for Lob City.
*Chaps & Friends beat Resource Recovery 59-45. Keith Clater had 29 points for Chaps. Scott Gebelein led Resource with 15 points.
*Weiler’s C-Stores cruised past After Hours 75-49. Alex Marth had 27 points for Weiler’s. Mike Pankratz had 15 points for After Hours.
